NSale 2020

I’m torn on whether or not to even be posting about this sale because it seems like the weirdest time in the world. I asked via Instagram about whether or not you all even want to see anything about the sale and 70% said yes. Maybe we all want a little break from all the COVID-19 talk? I’ve shopped this sale for years and blogged about it the last 2 and although I love it there’s been some major frustration on my part shopping it. So many things that myself and others had their eye on are already sold out. I’m also never encouraging anyone to get a credit card to shop a sale early access, especially nowadays. The things I buy from the sale are staple things or things that don’t normally go on sale. They are also things I’ll wear (and have worn) for years to come. I’ll share the things I bought, already own and the things I got for Jeff too. Without further ado, my Nordstrom sale picks…….

I got this jacket 2 years ago in black so thought this year I’d try the brown version! I love leather and faux leather jackets during the fall and winter. I ordered this in a small and it’s super reasonably priced.

On the not reasonably priced end is this jacket from Allsaints. I worked for Allsaints for a couple years in Los Angeles and absolutely fell in love with their leather goods. No joke, I have a leather jacket from them I still wear 10 years later that I absolutely love. It’s going to be hard not snagging this one at $150 off.

I like to stick to closet staples and I don’t think it gets more closet staple than a black cowl neck sweater. This one is under $50 and comes in a few colors. I know I’ll wear this one a lot.

Even though the color I was wanting is sold out I’m into this maroon color for fall. I wound up getting a small in this one even though the reviews said it’s a bit oversized. I’m going to love this one with booties and a hat.

I’m excited for this top because I think it’s perfect for a leather jacket, hat and some black skinny jeans. It’s long enough to wear with leggings too! It comes in quite a few color options as well.

I have these jeans and love, love, love them. Good American really does have it down when it comes to denim. I love that they look great on so many different body shapes and really are flattering. Plus, they’re so incredibly comfortable. I don’t feel like I’m wearing a sausage casing….I know y’all feel me on this. They are definitely an investment but I’m all about quality over quantity when it comes to jeans!

I’ve been wearing Gorjana jewelry for years and I love it. It’s all great quality that doesn’t break the bank. I love that their pieces don’t tarnish even if I’m wearing them all day, every day. This will be a perfect one to layer with my other Gorjana necklaces!

These next couple items are Madewell and if you’ve followed me on Instagram for a minute you know my Madewell love runs deep. I got this cardigan a few years ago and they bring it back during the sale every year. It comes in a ton of colors, is insanely soft and keeps you warm enough without feeling crazy hot.

I’ve shopped Madewell jeans for a long time. They quality is great, they fit true to size, they’re comfortable and they are less expensive than most designer brands. I love the button front, that they are high rise and again….comfortable.

Another button front Madewell jean….shocker. I have these jeans in 2 washes that I’ve loved forever. I wear my usual size and they fit perfect.

Last pair of jeans, promise. I discovered MOTHER denim last year and fell in love. It is an investment but it’s one of those things that basically never go on sale so now is the time to buy. Honestly, the only time I ever buy designer jeans or a leather jacket is during the Nordstrom sale since those are just not really sale items.

I buy these pj’s every year from the sale. They’re $29, insanely soft and last me the whole year until I need to buy another pair. I’ve bought a small and a medium but definitely prefer the medium for a more oversized, comfy feel. They come in a bunch of color options too!

Finally trying this bra I’ve been hearing so much about. The Spanx Bra-llelujah is apparently amazing so I’m giving it a go since it’s on sale. I’ll report back ASAP.

In an effort to not bore you I’m going to save all my Jeff items for the next post. Stay tuned for the guys.

XO

Jess
