Let's talk about hats babyyyyy
I wear a lot of hats, literally and figuratively…..Today let’s talk about the ones I physically wear. I love hats. Love, love, love them. I’ve been rocking hats since I started this blog and long before that even. Let’s also be honest sometimes hats are a complete necessity in covering my dirty hair #dryshampoo. They just also happen to be stylish so killing 2 birds, one stone kind of deal.
Let’s discuss some of my favorites. My all time, absolute favorite, best quality, way too expensive hat brand is Lack of Colour. I discovered them a couple of years ago and have tried to convert all my most worn hats to that brand. I will say the quality cannot be beat. I’ve beat these hats up and they are still in great shape years later. I have a black and beige rancher. I love them so much. Goal this year, buy more Lack of Colour hats. You can sometimes find them on sale at Free People but it’s a very rare occassion. I’ll keep my eyes peeled.
Prior to my Lack of Colour obsession was a Brixton obsession. Don’t get me wrong, I still rock a Brixton hat. The quality is great and I still love them, they just don’t seem to be as durable as the L.O.C. ones. My absolute favorite hat for the beach is a Joanna Brixton hat. I have 2. I’m sure I’ll buy another for summer this year. I will put a pic below of the old black Brixton hat I used to wear. A couple of differences in that and the L.O.C….the brim on the Brixton is much smaller. If you’re a small brim kind of gal, go Brixton. Again, the quality isn’t as great as L.O.C. but there is about a $100 price difference so, makes sense.
Let’s also not discriminate the good ol’ ball cap. My, obvious, go to is a Braves hat….Truist park is kind of my second home. I love a good baseball hat…..again, the covering of the dirty hair always comes in clutch. I’m sure come April you’ll be seeing me in a lot of baseball hats. GO BRAVES.
Off to go look at the Lack of Colour site to plan my next purchase…..
xoxo
